Take 2 parts Views, 1 part CCK, and a sprinkling of jQuery and what do you get? Flexifeeds. What are flexifeeds you might ask? Well, you can either watch the video associated to this post OR click on the feeds link at the top to play around with them yourself. Basically what it'll do is allow you to manipulate the View on screen to only show you the data you care about. So if you select courses, it'll just show you courses. If you select courses and Department of Landscape Architecture, it'll show you just larch courses.
The fun thing though is that whatever you cobble together on the display you can then hit the RSS icon and get a feed that only gives you back the information you care about. So if you want to subscribe to everything written about instructional design, as well as all courses we here at the ELI are creating, you can build yourself one! It's a very simple recipe so if you're interested in more of the details I can post a follow up to this if you're interested.
