This marks a new mini-series of screencasts for the ELMS project. ELMS Botany is an effort to teach people about the Drupal technologies used in creation of the ELMS Distribution. It's very common for drupal experts to say drupal can be used to do anything but people can't imagine what "anything" could be, they can imagine what a finished product is. This will seek to show what different modules and module combinations can accomplish in the context of a larger system.
So today we're covering Spaces, Organic Groups, and Purl, three modules you can use in concert to essentially turn one drupal site into appearing to be many. This will show how these projects influence ELMS and other distributions built on top of them and why they are so powerful. As always, feedback is greatly appreciated!
ELMS Botany is an effort to teach people what Drupal technologies have gone into the creation of the various ELMS distributions. If you'd like to see something covered by the Botany project just leave contact me and I'll see what I can put together.
